One of my favorite Folk Rocks songs from the 1970s, by Folk Rock star Jackson Browne, "Rock Me on the Water". I love the theme behind it, that there's not enough people doing things themselves and instead, they just have other people do it for them. This theme is universal especially in todays society because we are becoming too dependent on machinery and such to do things for us, and there aren't enough people who know the value of a hard day's work.
