Music from the Barren Wasteland: Lung Overcoat were a post-punk band from San Antonio, Texas. The roots of the group formed in 1981 under the name Platform of Youth. By '83 they changed their name and released a 7" single Internal Silence/Past Lives. In the mid '80s they released an EP and a couple of compilation tracks. After several lineup changes they called it quits in 1987. This video was directed by Rudy Canedo in 1984 for his cable TV public access show "Any Man, Any Band".
