Disco Inferno was an experimental rock band from Essex that started out sounding like some late 70's/early 80's post punk band trying to fill a gap between bands like Joy Divison, Durutti Column, early Felt and Wire. Their debut single - Entertainment - released on the small indiependent label Che in 1990 - shows a band able to further develop the ideas they so respectfully and skillfully adopted from the prime of the British post-punk scene.

"Arc In Round" is the B-side of the "Enterntainment" 7" single. It is just as good as the A side and both sides are available on the 1995 compilation of the bands first single, ep and album - "In Debt" - also on Che. I'm afraid these records are a pain in the butt to come by these days but I have at least seen one download site offering "In Debt". What can I say? Just get it!
